12 Best Looks From Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Fall 2023

Giambattista Valli Couture

Giambattista Valli’s autumn/winter 2023 haute couture show was fit for royalty. Held at the courtier’s new headquarters on Paris’s Boulevard des Capucines the collection was everything a fairytale Princess would dream of.

It is always one of the shows I look forward to the most during couture fashion week and this season yet again, did not disappoint.

The colour palette radiated elegance, featuring rich black, ivory, and rosewood accented with olive and silver. Balletcore was prominent throughout the collection with a plethora of tulle, silk, and ballet flats.

Valli’s first look of the collection showed a two-tone strapless dress in silk faille with silk organza ruffles, juxtaposed perfectly with velvet ballet flats. The silhouette was stunning and the pairing of such a dramatic gown with flats made a nice change.

The rest of the collection was no different. Valli’s iconic romantic and whimsical designs were prevalent throughout. Each look cohesively created a vision of luxury, whilst still maintaining a distinct personality. The closing look–a voluptuous blush dress with pleated tulle ruffles was worn on Olympia of Greece. It was every bit as stunning as it was dramatic and a standout from this couture season.

It was a tough feat, but I have narrowed down my 12 favourite looks from this collection. Here are my standouts from Giambattista Valli haute couture fall/winter 2023:
