Every season brings with it a new it-colour. For fall/ winter 2023, that colour is red, the brighter and bolder the better. If you’re unsure on how to wear red this season, just look to the runways. This fiery hue was seen all over the FW23 collections, from Fendi to Alberta Ferretti to Bottega Veneta and Jacquemus.
Red is a colour that denotes feelings of love and passion, but also danger and courage. It is a welcome change to the more neutral tones typical of this time of year.

Whilst usually reserved for evening wear, this year it has also been proposed for the day. Think monochromatic power suits a la Ferragamo, or structured blazers as shown in Jason Wu’s collection.
If you are looking to incorporate this power colour into your wardrobes, and who could blame you, then here are four ways to wear red…
Head-to-toe
If you really want to embrace this trend, then there is no better way than wearing it head-to-toe. Monochromatic looks are a favourite in the fashion industry and for good reason. They instantly make an outfit look put together, without really needing any effort at all.
