For the cruise 2025 collections we’ve been to London with Gucci, Marseille with Chanel, Barcelona with Louis Vuitton and Scotland with Dior. Though it’s not just the grandeur locations that has had everyone talking. The designers have set the fashion world a buzz with their displays of creativity this cruise season. From vibrant colours and luxurious fabrics to accentuated silhouettes and heritage prints – here are all of the best looks from the cruise 2025 collections…
Gucci
For his debut cruise collection for Gucci, Sabato De Sarno perfectly blended Italian and British styles. The result was a collection filled with beautiful, ultra-feminine pieces, most of which have already made their way onto my summer wishlist. The pastel colour palette made the pieces good enough to eat and the colour-blocking combinations ensured that this was a standout collection of the season.
Dior
Dior, as always, was one of the highlights of the Cruise 2025 season. The unicorn and the thistle, both symbols of Scotland, were seen throughout and provided an alternative to the Millefleurs motif. Tartan was also a major presence in the collection, used of course with historical significance in mind. Other highlights include the diverging textures of velvet and lace as well as prints of Dior’s spring-summer 1955 presentation on the edges of kilts or pea coats.

Chanel
Chanel’s cruise 2025 collection featured lots of short hems, skirt suits and swimsuits on the runway. The styling was more casual than we are used to seeing from Chanel with a plethora of plush knits and hoodies. Looks fluctuated from baggy to formfitting which only accentuated the nonchalance of the collection.
Louis Vuitton
Contrasting Chanel’s collection, Louis Vuitton’s cruise 2025 show was a far cry from casual. 80s styling took form in accentuated shoulder pads and gold brooches. Yet, the standout looks included sheer polka dot dresses, bubble-hemmed skirts, and oversized lapels.
Versace
For the brands Resort 2025 collection, Donatella continues to be inspired by a generation of young people. Mix-and-match dressing, sculptural silhouettes, unexpected prints, and vibrant colours were seen throughout – in homage to the generations demand for joy and optimism as well as energy and attitude.
