For the Coach SS26 collection, Creative Director Stuart Vevers continued the brand’s exploration of American style. Highlighting crisp, clean finishes and a thoughtful reflection of the way today’s generation is redefining personal style – whether that be on the streets of New York City or around the world.

“For Spring, I thought about a delicate balance of polish and shine with grit, a pairing I think of as very New York. And by grit, I mean resilience, and the beauty of how the city comes back to life every morning,” says Vevers.

The collection is inspired by the energy of New York City, shown through beautifully treated leathers with soft or loveworn effects. Repurposed denim and tailored pants and skirts were featured throughout, while the palette consisted of a combination of whites, honey browns, black, and tan, contrasted with soft pastel blues, yellow, green, and metallic tones.

My favourite pieces were undoubtedly the outerwear. Moto jackets, vests, blouson, and cropped iterations were seen in suede, leather, and denim, while moleskin peacoats added further texture. Jackets were layered over graphic T-shirts depicting iconic American locales. There was also a strong romantic theme running throughout the collection, with a variety of tulle and organza shift dresses, most of which were appliqued with star, balloon, heart, or cloud motifs.

And of course, Coach offered up another season of must-have bags. The Kisslock Barrel Bag features a cylindrical duffel silhouette and a compartment with a Kisslock closure, and is available in a wide variety of materials, including repurposed denim.

The Coach Readable Book Charms For SS26

Titled “Explore Your Story,” the new campaign by Coach for SS26 is inspired by a renewed cultural embrace of long-form storytelling. Through the campaign, Coach champions storytelling as a way to express all of who you are and have the Courage to Be Real, creating room for connection through shared experiences: from books and book clubs to digital communities and campus conversations.

To help shape the campaign, Coach has introduced a collection of readable book charms for you to decorate your bags with. The collection includes twelve miniature, readable book charms featuring titles including Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, and Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You the Sun. Each book was selected for its narratives around self-expression.
