It doesn’t get any more camp than Billy Porter being carried onto the Met Gala pink carpet Cleopatra-style.

Blake Lively needs to start giving a masterclass in how to dress for the Met Gala, because this is how you do it!

Cher in Bob Mackie (1974)

Of course this Iconic dress by Bob Mackie had to make the list!

Donatella & Gianna Versace (1996)

I’m not sure which is more iconic, Donatella’s bondage look or her brothers satin leather shirt.

1920s meets Y2K, Olivia’s purple gown was perfect for the Met Gala’s theme of American Lexicon.

Taking the revenge dress to another level, Princess Diana looked stunning in this navy Dior dress.

Rihanna in John Galliano (2018)

If there is one thing I am certain of in life it is that Rihanna will kill any Met Gala carpet she walks. Between her yellow fur-trimmed cape by Guo Pei for the 2015 “China: Through The Looking Glass” Met Gala and the 2017 floral structured Comme des Garcons dress it was almost impossible to choose my favourite look.  But ultimately, the most memorable is this stunning fully-beaded mini dress, cape and mitre by John Galliano for the 2018 Met.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Alexander McQueen (2006)

What’s more iconic than Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexander McQueen twinning in matching plaid ensembles?

Zendaya in Tommy Hilfiger (2019)

One of my favourite Met Gala looks of all time, and definitely one of the most memorable.
