This season brings a wave of high-profile creative director debuts – from Matthiew Blazy at Chanel, Demna at Gucci, and Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga. We also have milestone anniversaries and fresh perspectives from a wave of rising talent. Here is everything you need to have on your radar for fashion week SS26…

New York Fashion Week

Michael Kors will kick off NYFW, and fashion month, with a show on September 11th. Veronica Leoni will showcase her second collection for Calvin Klein after a well-reviewed debut in February and Stuart Vevers will present the latest for Coach. Much loved brands Prabal Gurung, Khaite, Collina Strada, COS, and Tory Burch complete the schedule.

London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is always an exciting one and this season even more so. The CEO of the British Fashion Council, Laura Weir, earlier this year outlined a shakeup in policies including waiving fees for designers, investment for international press and further funding for the Newgen program – a scheme that has launched the careers of several prominent British designers including Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Grace Wales Bonner, and Jonathan Anderson.

Burberry is the big name on the must-watch list this season as well as other established brands including Erdem, Simone Rocha, and Roksanda. Di Petsa will show on the Friday and is often a highlight of LFW due to the theatrical nature of the shows. While Dilara Findikoglu will present on Sunday 21st September.

Milan Fashion Week

This season, Milan will feature 55 physical and 4 digital shows. The most anticipated will be the debut of Demna at Gucci, which will be shown on the first day. We will also see the debut of Louise Trotter at Bottega Veneta, following Matthieu Blazy’s exit last December. As well as Simone Bellotti first collection at Jil Sander. Versace has opted out of a physical runway show this season, but will instead host an intimate event to showcase Dario Vitale debut collection. Beloved brands including Fendi, Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, and Diesel will show as usual. Giorgio Armani will close the calendar on September 28th  with a celebratory show to mark the brands 50th anniversary.

As well as the highly-anticipated creative director debuts, Milan Fashion Week SS26 will also be an exciting time for new brand entries. Dhruv Kapoor will present its first-ever physical show during MFW, while London-based KNWLS will make its Milan runway debut.

Paris Fashion Week

Ending the month on a (hopeful) high is of course Paris Fashion Week with a nine-day schedule of shows. Matthieu Blazy (formerly at Bottega Veneta) will present his first collection for Chanel. Jonathan Anderson, who recently showed his first menswear collection for Dior in June, will present womenswear on October 1st. Proenza Schouler founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have replaced Anderson at Loewe and will present on October 3rd.

There will also be debuts from Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga, Miguel Castro at Mugler and Glenn Martens at Maison Margiela. Haider Ackermann at Tom Ford, Sarah Burton at Givenchy and Michael Rider at Celine have already shown debut collections earlier this year, so all eyes will be on them too to see how their second collections compare. Other high profile shows include Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Schiaparelli, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino, and Chloé.
