For his debut collection, Creative Director Matteo Tamburini unveils a new chapter for Tod’s Fall-Winter 2024, full of sophisticated pieces rooted in Italian lifestyle and high product quality.
The show was located at the iconic Darsena tram station, a symbol of the energy and movements that animate the city. The models walked along the contours of the track lines in front of the city’s trams. Tod’s is known for its incredible craftsmanship and quiet luxury pieces, so the choice to use this setting as a backdrop for the show is undoubtedly a smart one. The collection explores the duality between urban life and leisure, formal and informal, tradition and innovation. This is characterised by essential and sophisticated pieces from a leather trench and masculine coats in double-faced wool to tailored twill suits and silk knitwear cardigans.
The iconic Tod’s Gommino loafer has been reinvented with the addition of thin leather fringes to add movement with every step. Motorcycle-inspired boots were given a feminine twist thanks to brushed leathers that enhance Italian craftsmanship.
Staying true to the timeless elegance we love about Tod’s, the collection palette favours natural tones, with leather pieces taking center stage.
