Tommy Hilfiger made a triumphant return to New York Fashion Week for his fall winter 2024 collection.
It doesn’t get more New York than Tommy Hilfiger, but that doesn’t mean the brand can’t try. Located in the iconic Grand Central Station, the FW24 collection, titled ‘New York Moment’ showcased everything we know and love about Tommy Hilfiger. American classics flooded the runway from varsity jackets and polo shirts to crewneck sweaters and chinos. If anything is going to make me wish I attended an Ivy league school in the 90s, it’s this collection.
Pleated skirts styled with oversized blazers and pea coats were seen throughout with striped knitwear being the star of the show. Tommy’s signature colours of navy, red, and browns were of course the chosen colour palette. This truly is preppy Americana at its finest!
The show and collection were everything you would expect from Tommy Hilfiger and were nothing short of impressive. The designer has been missed at NYFW over the past few seasons, so let’s hope he is here to stay.
