As anticipation builds for the cruise 2025 collections, here are the hotspot destination that have been chosen to honour the latest designs…
Dior, Scotland
French luxury fashion house Dior is heading to Scotland to present its cruise 2025 collection. The cruise show will take place on June 3, with the picturesque gardens of Drummond Castle acting as the backdrop for for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs. The location, was chosen as a “poetic invitation where past and future meet, celebrating the unique, powerful ties forged from the very beginnings of the House.” This statement refers to founder Christian Dior’s autumn-winter 1947 collection, which included a look called Écosse, which drew inspiration from Scotland.
Gucci, London
It’s another huge win for the UK! Gucci’s upcoming cruise 2025 collection will be showcased in London on May 13th. This cruise collection will be Sabato De Sarno’s first at the Italian label. A collection that is bound to pay homage to the brands history with the city. It was at the Savoy Hotel where a young Guccio Gucci began working in 1897 as a luggage porter and liftboy and where he was inspired to found his eponymous leather goods house in 1921.
Chanel, Marseille
Marseille in the South of France is the chosen location for Chanel’s cruise 2025 fashion show on May 2nd. The well-known seaside city, has been a popular destination for other French brands like Jacquemus and Koché. This collection in particular is predicated to celebrate the cities vibrant culture and energy, as well as continuing to align Chanel’s mission to connect and engage with a younger audience.
Louis Vuitton, Barcelona
The latest Louis Vuitton collection, designed by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière will be held in Barcelona on May 23rd. As well as the highly-anticipated fashion show, various exhibitions and educational programs will also be held. The brand also will release a City Guide for Barcelona and educational initiatives to support the local creative community.
Max Mara, Venice
On June 11th, Max Mara will unveil its latest cruise 2025 collection in Venice. Last year’s cruise collection was showcased in Stockholm and was highly praised for its modern take on resort wear. So, we can expect big things from Max Mara this cruise season.
