Spring is a time for renewal – longer days, blooming flowers, and, of course, new spring fashion trends. This season, expect a mix of soft pastel hues and 60s retro prints. Bodysuits are also having a major comeback, offering versatile styling options for the trans-seasonal weather.
So, what are the fashion trends for spring 2025? Read on for the must-have styles this season…
Retro Prints

(L-R: Versace, Miu Miu, N21, Gucci)
Over the past few seasons, we’ve seen a big shift away from quiet luxury towards maximalism, and the spring/summer 2025 runways were no different. Brands including Versace, Miu Miu, and Gucci all showcased retro or 60s-inspired prints in bright and bold colours. It seems that with this trend, more is definitely more, so don’t be afraid to mix prints and colours.

Exaggerated Proportions

(L-R: Issey Miyake, Loewe, Acne, Jacquemus)
Sculptural silhouettes have long been a trend, but for spring 2025, we’re kicking it up a notch. A simple voluminous sleeve or shoulder pad will no longer suffice according to the collections of Issey Miyake, Jacquemus or Loewe. Exaggerated hips and fanned-out hemlines are the way to go. Acne Studios showcased barrel leg jeans in a larger-than-life voluminous shape that offers an interesting take on standard denim.

Pastel Shades

(L-R: Acne, Alaïa, Chloé, Chanel)
Nothing quite says Spring like pastel shades, and lucky for us they are one of 2025 biggest spring fashion trends. Just look to the runways of Chanel, Alaïa, and Chloé if you don’t believe me. Soft ballet pink, mint green, sky blue, and zesty lemon will be dominating our wardrobes this Spring and I cannot wait!

Nautical

(L-R: Proenza Schouler, Dior, Schiaparelli, Ralph Lauren)
The fisherman aesthetic is a huge spring fashion trend for 2025 and the easiest way to achieve the look is with a nautical print. Straight from the coast to the runways of Ralph Lauren, Schiaparelli, Dior, and Proenza Schoulder this trend is both practical and seasonally appropriate.

Powder Dressing

(L-R: Saint Laurent, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors)
We love to see power dressing on the runway and thankfully for Spring 2025, it hasn’t gone anywhere. Saint Laurent referenced the 80s in a collection of wide-shouldered grey suits while Dolce & Gabbana gave the trend a sexy twist in a perfectly tailored pinstripe suit, complete with a corset. Michael Kors combined masculine and feminine styles with a structured blazer and delicate lace midi skirt and Roberto Cavalli showcased cropped blazers giving the trend a modern and youthful edge.

Bodysuits

(L-R: Dior, Ferragamo, Max Mara, Victoria Beckham)
In a sharp contrast to the oversized tailoring we know and love, bodysuits are back. The body-skimming silhouette appeared in quite a few collections this season from Dior and Victoria Beckham during the Paris shows to Max Mara, Prada, and Ferragamo in Milan. There seems to be a sporting edge to many of the designs. Ferragamo sent out leotards styled with ballerina cardigans and ribbon-tied heels, while Maria Grazia Chiuri collection at Dior was heavily inspired by the Paris Olympics.
