For AW25, Isabel Marant showcased a collection that was equal parts grunge and bohemian. From structured blazers to lace mini dresses, the pieces strike that perfect balance between feminine and masculine, remaining true to the brand’s DNA. In fact, when watching the show, all I could think of was just how many of the looks I wanted to wear (hint: it was all of them).
Here are five trends straight from the latest Isabel Marant show for AW25 that come fall, I will be wearing all season long…
Patterned tights
This is one trend I can really get behind for Autumn. Isabel Marant is no stranger to patterned tights, having shown leopard print variations in previous seasons. For AW25 delicate, floral fishnets were styled under everything from skirts and hotpants to dresses and coats. Some looks even seemed to forgo pants altogether with the tights taking the focus.
Bohemian
Evidently, boho chic, a trend that has taken the fashion world by storm the past few seasons, is not going anywhere anytime soon. Isabel Marant contrasts the femininity of bohemian style with a masculine edge. Pairing lace and ruffles with leather and structured shoulders gives this 70s trend a modern twist.
Slouchy ankle boots
Mark my words, this boot trend will be everywhere come AW25. Isabel Marant showed a variation of the style in cream, black, and red. Some were embellished with studs, while some were tied around the ankle. A spotted pair caught my eye, which contrasted nicely with an all-grey ensemble.
Cinched-blazers
There is just something about a cinched-waist blazer that makes me immediately want to add to cart. It’s likely the blazer’s ability to make any outfit instantly more chic. Not to mention its versatility. The latest blazer designs for Isabel Marant AW25 will no doubt be on top of everyone’s fall wishlist. It’s certainly on the top of mine.
Tartan
As well as bohemia, Isabel Marant nods to the grunge aesthetic for AW25 with several tartan looks. Tartan shirts and skirts paired with denim waistcoats, relaxed-fit jumpers, and pinstripes are not part of my usual style. Yet there is something about the way it is styled in this collection that makes me want to rethink my entire wardrobe.
