Not to mention the darker, earthier colour palette that is super easy to style and suits practically everyone. And just like every season, one colour always stands out as the it shade to wear. For fall 2025, that colour is burgundy. Not completely surprising as the rich hue is always popular once the leaves start to fall, but this season it has gone beyond a classic.

The Fall/Winter 2025 collections confirmed what many of us already suspected, the burgundy trend isn’t going anywhere. Across the runways of New York, London, Milan, and Paris, designers showcased the deep, wine-toned hue in a range of fabrics and silhouettes, cementing it as one of the defining fashion trends of 2025.
At Burberry, the British house reimagined its heritage pieces in rich burgundy tones, from leather trench coats to skirts featuring the brand’s classic tartan print. Christopher Esber, Elie Saab, Max Mara, and Ferrari all embraced head-to-toe burgundy looks, proving just how powerful a monochromatic approach can be. Meanwhile, Courrèges leaned into cosy minimalism with slouchy burgundy knitwear, and Prada balanced structure and softness by pairing burgundy tops with contrasting coloured skirts.
Ferragamo brought a sense of elegance with satin slip dresses in deep merlot shades, offering a polished take on eveningwear, while Victoria Beckham, Thom Browne, Saint Laurent, and Etro each incorporated burgundy into their own signature styles.
