Louis Vuitton
The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 show will be held on the 22nd May 2025 at one of France’s most iconic monuments, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. The spirit of travel and the discovery of emblematic architectural monuments converge in the choice of this iconic location. True to Louis Vuitton’s tradition of supporting local heritage and community projects in the cities that host its Cruise shows, the House will contribute to the funding of a lighting project for the Palais des Papes.
Dior
Dior’s Cruise collections have consistently been shown in extraordinary locations. Last year, Drummond Castle in Scotland played host to the show, with culturally rich city of Mexico City serving as the backdrop the year before. Cruise 2026 will be no different. Maria Grazia Chiuri has chosen Rome, her beloved native city, as the enchanting setting for the Cruise 2026 show, which will take place on May 27th 2025. The show will be a symbolic tribute to the powerful and perpetually renewed cultural ties uniting Italy and the House since it was first founded.
Gucci
Titled Gucci Firenze, the show for Cruise 2026 will pay tribute to the city where the House was founded in 1921 – Florence, and will be shown on May 15th 2025. Set at the heart of Gucci’s rich history, the show will celebrate the House’s enduring connection with the city of Florence, a city that embodies Italian craftsmanship and visionary creativity, while reaffirming Creative Director Sabato De Sarno’s contemporary vision, deeply rooted in the brand’s heritage and lasting influence.

Max Mara
Max Mara will complete the Cruise 2026 line-up with a collection show in Naples on June 17th 2025. The show will mark the second time Max Mara has taken its resort collection to the region. In June 2021, the house staged a gala show at Mezzatore Hotel and Spa on the island of Ischia, on the norther edge of the Bay of Naples.
Chanel
Chanel, still without a creative director, is heading to Lake Como to present the Maison’s 2026 Cruise collection on April 29th 2025. Details of the venue remain under wraps, but the show no doubt will blend high fashion with the timeless beauty of this celebrity-favourite destination.

Why Are All the Houses Choosing Italy for Their 2026 Cruise Shows?
There appears to be a common trend with the Cruise 2026 fashion shows – they’re all being staged in Italy, which inevitably raises the questions – why? Italy, of course, has long been synonymous with luxury and craftsmanship but perhaps this growing trend of major fashion houses choosing it as the backdrop for their 2026 destination shows solidifies its status as the ultimate fashion capital.
The allure lies not just in its historic cities like Milan, Rome, and Florence but in the romantic charm of its smaller regions such as Lake Como’s serene vistas. Each location offers a unique narrative, ultimately enhancing the stories that these collections aim to tell.Italy also offers a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity, where Renaissance architecture and centuries-old piazzas provide breathtaking stages for bold, avant-garde collections.
