Florals For Spring? No, Here Are The Spring Trends To Know

spring 2024 trends

Say goodbye to oversized coats and say hello to the spring 2024 fashion trends!

I think we can all agree that winter seems to have dragged on this year. The only thing getting me through is the knowledge that spring is on the horizon. Whilst I love fall fashion and wrapping up in cosy layers, having to dress practically for the weather does not always allow for much style creativity. So, if you are anything like me you will be looking to the runways to see what trends you will be wearing come spring.

Here are five of the biggest colours, prints, and styles that will be dominating over the spring 2024 season…

With every new season, comes a new hue that fashion folk cannot get enough of. This spring, it’s icy blue. This soft blue shade was seen all over the spring-summer 2024 runways. From Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler to Bora Aksu and Ermanno Scervino. This is a trend that is so easy to incorporate into your wardrobe, whether through a monochromatic look or as a pop of colour to a neutral base.

If you thought the Y2K renaissance was over, think again. Micro skirts are back and shorter than ever. Blumarine, Emilia Wickstead, Diesel, and Gucci are just some of the brands that have lowered their hemlines this season.

Fringe

Boho chic is officially in the midst of a revival. Fringe in particular is going to be huge this spring. Alexander McQueen presented fringed-lined overcoats and dresses. Whilst Prada showcased gold foiled skirts with tasseled layering.

White dresses

A spring trend that should already be a staple in your wardrobe. A timeless white dress offers a carefree vibe like no other. Whether you are heading out for dinner or running errands. If you want to take an everyday white dress up a notch, take inspiration from Ferragamo and style it with an XXL belt for a bit of drama.

Soft romanticism

One of the biggest trends for spring 2024 is soft romanticism! After all, what’s more spring-like than delicate, lace dresses in pastel shades? According to Elie Saab, Simone Rocha, Christian Siriano, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – nothing. As their spring-summer 2024 collections were overflowing with soft romantic pieces.
