No other brand makes traveling as chic as Louis Vuitton. This is particularly evident in the French House’s latest collection for AW25. The show, on the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week, was presented at the former headquarters of a train company, L’Étoile du Nord. Creative director Nicholas Ghesquière crafted a collection that highlighted the euphoria and exhilaration of travel—from the enthusiasm of departure to the melancholy of separation. Among the standout pieces are vintage-inspired slip dresses, the iconic Alma bag, pointed-toe ankle boots, and PVC raincoats. Vintage-inspired slip dresses

One can only ever hope to be this well-dressed while traveling. Louis Vuitton presented a number of stunning eveningwear dresses in muted floral prints but these two vintage-inspired pieces, featuring lace detailing and a fluid silhouette, are what really caught my eye.

Pointed-toe ankle boots

Chic and comfortable footwear rarely go hand in hand, yet these pointed-toe ankle boots make an exception. The monogram detailing is just the right amount to channel the logo-mania trend and the cut-out sides make for a perfect transitional staple. 

Alma Bag

A forever favourite LV piece, this latest variation of a classic bag immediately went to the top of my wishlist for fall 2025. The bag maintains its signature structured shape while introducing a new colourway.

PVC raincoats

Combining practicality with high fashion, Louis Vuitton showed PVC raincoats as part of the AW25 collection that were as useful as they were stylish. If you’ve ever hated having to hide a perfectly good outfit under a coat, then this might just be the solution you’ve been waiting for.
