Stripes are far from new in the fashion lexicon, but for SS26, they appear to be more popular than ever for menswear spring/summer 2026. Appearing in the collection of Amiri, Giorgio Armani, Dior, Saint Laurent, and Prada to name just a few.

While bright hues were of course in abundance for spring/ summer, surprisingly so were earthier tones of brown, beige, and burnt orange. This trend helped to ground many of the collections in versatility – whether used in suiting, casualwear, or utility pieces.

Micro shorts

A trend that has become a firm favourite across womenswear now appears to be making its way to menswear. From Prada and Dior to Louis Vuitton and Dries Van Noten, micro shorts were everywhere for Spring/Summer 2026.

Pyjamacore

A major win for the comfort seekers among us! Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana both showcased laidback trousers, shorts, and shirts that would not go amiss at a pyjama party. Styled as part of a matching set or with blazers to add formality.

Flip Flops

Flip-flops were everywhere on the Men’s SS26 runways – from Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana to Yohji Yamamoto and Ami. Not at all surprising for the spring/summer season, but Giorgio Armani’s choice to style with tailored trousers and suit jacket is a refreshing take on classic.

From F1 to Wimbledon, the world is pretty sports crazy at the moment, and so to it appears are designers. KidSuper showed F1 aesthetic as part of its collection in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz while Emporio Armani channelled gorpcore.
