Everything To Know About The Michael Kors Spring 2026 Collection

michael kors spring 2026

Michael Kors ushered in spring 2026 with a breezy elegance that felt both worldly and intimately personal. The designer offered a masterclass in mood: a balance of soft minimalism and worldly polish that spoke to travellers, dreamers, and city sophisticates alike.

“The simple truth is that escapism helps us tremendously,” says Michael Kors. “So many of us live urban lives, and when you travel, you learn about yourself, you learn about other people, you learn about life. It’s nature that always knocks us out, but balanced with elegance and sophistication—that’s everything I want this collection to convey.”

Read on for everything to know about the latest Michael Kors collection for spring/summer 2026 presented during New York Fashion Week.

The Setting

The show was held at Terminal Warehouse in Chelsea, New York City. Taking inspiration from the collections theme, as well as the designers own beach house, the venue was transformed with wood panelling, terracotta touches, towering cacti and sculptural elements drawn from nature.

Models walked to a custom soundtrack crafted by composer Sebastien Perrin that emphasised the warm ambience of the season.

The Collection

For his spring/summer 2026 collection, Michael Kors leaned into the relaxed sensuality of the season. Liquid draping and relaxed tailoring took the spotlight – shown in pareo, pajamas and culottes. Breezy garments like long, leg-baring caftans and flowing tunics appeared alongise airy perforated suede and paillettes wrapped in translucent silk voile. All designed to reflect the lightness of the season. As for the colour palette, desert hues dominated, with shades of branch, espresso and ecru paired back to sunset shades of palomino, cashew, quartz, and guava.

Accessories followed suit with supple textures and fine craftsmanship, from oversized leather clutches to knotted market totes and statement leather jewellery handmade by Italian artisans. Minimalist sandals and mules, in both flat and heeled styles, rounded out the collection’s polished vibe.
