For AW25, Richard Quinn delivers a love letter to London. A city that has shaped the designer’s identity and provided the inspiration for his work. The collection acts as a tribute to the special moments that define our lives and the timeless elegance of dressing up, heading out… and back home again. Designed and made to be cherished for a long time as pieces get passed down through generations, this collection encapsulates the essence of an occasion, femininity, and the powerful bond that intertwines clothing and memories.

The Inspiration

The new season brings a story of celebration and the transformative power of fashion, drawing inspiration from life’s milestones, special occasions, and the beauty and strength of women. With exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail – which Quinn prides himself on- each garment in the collection is designed to elevate the wearer and evoke a sense of joy, pride, and empowerment.

The Location

The Richard Quinn AW25 collection was showcased on a perfectly stunning set of a snowy London street which created a dreamlike atmosphere. The immersive backdrop brought theatrics and fantasy back into fashion shows – a concept that has been seriously missing over the past few seasons.

The Collection

This collection was rather subdued compared to Quinns previous work. Florals and ruffles were still seen but far less liberally than before. 80s-inspired rose prints adorned evening gowns with cinched waists and exaggerated shoulders.

Corseted belts and pannier skirts embellished with beads and rosettes were not a far cry from the haute couture silhouettes of the 1950s. In fact, every piece was reminiscent of old-Hollywood, the kind of gowns the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly would have worn.

The Best Looks

The bridal collection was exquisite. In particular, a feather-embellished mini wedding dress was a standout. Styled perfectly with a white tulle veil.
