To celebrate Santoni’s 50th anniversary, the brand created an immersive exhibition that was, in short, a tribute to their exceptional craftsmanship. This longevity is thanks to Giuseppe Santoni, who carried on the brand from the founder, and his father, Andrea Santoni, as well as the talented hands, hearts, and visionaries who craft the beautiful pieces.

The celebration was staged at Galleria Meravigli during Milan Fashion Week, where the Maison presented an exhibition that felt more like an intimate conversation between brand and guests. Meraviglia – Makers of Beauty for 50 Years comprises a series of photographs, shot by Jack Davison. His work captures the artisans and highlights the care that is taken to create.
The exhibition also reveals the Objects of Marvel — the artisans’ tools, weathered by time yet enduring in purpose. These instruments show the wear of time through weathered surfaces caused by hours of dedicated work. Like a good pair of loved and well-worn shoes, these tools speak volumes on the importance Santoni puts on craftsmanship.
Throughout the exhibition, the Meraviglia collection is shown. Consisting of a series of iconic styles for men and women that represent the fullest expression of Santoni’s legacy.
For the women’s collection, femininity is reimagined with softness and strength. Fluid silhouettes and intricate leatherwork define the collection. Every stitch is deliberate and every detail is intentional. Ankle boots hug the leg, with their supple lambskin wrapping the foot like a second skin. Of course, the soles are made from durable leather to ground the design in practicality.

As for menswear, the collection reimagines archival lace-ups rich with history alongside loafers for balance. The signature double buckle pairs with a rare artistry of seamless Uniqua construction, sculpting a single piece of leather with remarkable precision.

Each piece in the Meraviglia collection is a testament to patience, skill, and time, further elevated by Santoni. Meraviglia is a journey into the most noble facet of luxury: time. The time to create, to perfect, to let beauty evolve into something truly eternal. It’s a tribute to a tradition.
