Schiaparelli is the brand that never disappoints for me. Season after season, Daniel Roseberry’s creations continue to prove why he is one of the best in the game. He has been creative director at Schiaparelli since 2019 and has since pushed the limits of what couture can be, while still retaining the house codes set by Elsa Schiaparelli. His couture collections in particular are a masterclass is artistry and craftsmanship, and whenever a celebrity attends a red carpet wearing his designs, they immediately hit the top of my best dressed list. I honestly can’t think of a single look that has not left me speechless.
Below, I have rounded up nine of the best Schiaparelli looks from the past few years – from the runway to the red carpet.
Zendaya at the Odyssey Premiere
It’s true that whatever Zendaya wears, she’s going to look incredible. But this look from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture collection for Fall 2026 has a special place in my heart. The look features a moulded bustier in porcelain-effect silicone and a fringed skirt. What’s even more impressive is she wore it on the red-carpet mere hours after it was presented on the runway.
Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala 2026
Kylie Jenner’s 2026 Met Gala look was one of my favourites of the evening, and of course it was Schiaparelli. The dress code was ‘Fashion is Art,’ and Kylie’s look was a reference to Venus de Milo that is on display at the Louvre. The dress required 11,000 hours of embroidery work and details over 2,000 satin stitch balls, 10,000 natural baroque pearls, and more than 7,000 painted pearlescent fish scales.
Teyana Taylor at the Golden Globes 2026
This look on Teyana Taylor for the Golden Globes stood out to me as one of the best of the night. It’s perfect Hollywood glamour but with a Schiaparelli twist. The gown features an asymmetrical bustier and silver-rhinestone bijou thong.
Dua Lipa Custom for Radical Optimism Tour
Dua Lipa wore a custom Schiaparelli bodysuit during her Radical Optimism Tour. It was embroidered with beads, golden discs and antique silver mirrors, and embellished with trompe l’oeil bones in tonal pearls.
Ariana Grande at the 2025 Oscars
As a massive Ariana Grande fan, I love just about everything she wears, but this has to be my favourite look of all time. She wore it while performing at the 2025 Oscars, where she was nominated for her role of Glinda in Wicked. The attention to detail on the gown is exquisite – featuring a 3D vintage shoe on the back in homage to The Wizard of Oz.
Corset and Jeans
While watching the Schiaparelli Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2025, this look stood out to me the most. A bodysuit and pair of denim jeans but with that signature Schiaparelli flair.
Fallen Dress
Look 26 from the Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024 collection consisted of a sheer, black mesh bustier and absinth satin skirt that gave the effect that the dress was falling down the body.
Creature Couture
The “creature” dress from Haute Couture Spring 2024 showcases Daniel Roseberry’s craft at its finest. The dress was covered (including a matching balaclava in nude petal embroidery to create a scale effect.
Robot Dress
Another look from Haute Couture Spring 2024 was a dress entirely embroidered with Swarovski crystal jewels and electronic chips in silver and green. The collection combined old world techniques, such as embroidery and applique, with modern references to create looks such as this that resemble a motherboard.
If you love Schiaparelli as much as me, or are looking to learn more about the House, the Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art exhibition is on at the V&A in London until November 2026.
