With the Lady Gaga Mayhem Ball Tour sweeping across cities, little monsters everywhere are asking the all-important question: what should I wear? Gaga is known for her theatrical fashion, so this is more than just a night out. It’s a chance to celebrate her, and above all else, fearless self-expression.
Whether you’re channelling old-school Gaga in disco bras and soda can rollers or conjuring up dark magic in reference to Abracadabra, you’re going to need a Killah outfit. Below, I’ve gathered some of my favourite Mayhem Ball Tour outfit ideas inspired by Gaga’s songs, lyrics, and iconic music videos.
Lady in Red

Red Leather Dress, £120
Red Leather Mini Skirt, £55
Studded Bag, £85
Embellished Choker, £15.99
Like a poem said by a lady in red. Other than the classic black and white, red it without a doubt the colour of the mayhem ball. It is bold, unapologetic, and just the right amount of dangerous. Gaga has worn it several times during this era, including the Abracadabra music video and her performances at Coachella and Rio making it a top choice when deciding on outfits to wear to the tour. Red leather in particular is a winner for extra drama.
Abracadabra

Lace Mini Dress, £108
Lace Opera Gloves, £29
Tulle Heels, £185
Crucifix Necklace, £16
It’s time to cast your spell on the night with an Abracadabra themed Mayhem ball outfit. Whimsical fashion is very much in right now, so not only will you look right at home at the concert, you’ll be bang on trend too. When styled the Gaga way, white lace doesn’t have to mean innocence. It becomes something otherworldly, dreamlike, and a little bit spooky. So, tap into your inner enchantress with sheer layers, opera gloves, and crucifix pendants.
Dark Romance

Black Lace Dress, £189
Lace Veil, £1.80
Pointed-Toe Boots, £55
If there is ever a time to tap into the dark romance aesthetic it is at a Lady Gaga concert. And if you’re after a mayhem ball outfit that is both elegant and edgy, this is your gothic fantasy come to life. Black lace should be the backbone to this look. Flowing gowns and structured corsets, finished perfectly with lace veils, mesh gloves, or dark roses.
Old School Gaga

Lady Gaga has some of the most iconic music videos in history, and some of the most instantly recognisable music video looks. The black latest jumpsuit and bejewelled eye mask from Poker Face. The architecturally masterful golden McQueen ensemble worn in Bad Romance. The disco bra from Just Dance. The Minnie Mouse-esque jumpsuit from Paparazzi. The list is endless. My personal favourite though is her studded leather outfit from the Telephone music video, complete with soda can hair accessories.
Leather Studded Jacket, £93
Rhinestone Bra, £5
Distressed Denim Shorts, £220
Fingerless Gloves, £69
Zombieboy

Zombieboy is perhaps one of the most beloved songs from Gaga’s MAYHEM album so it would only be right to devote your outfit to the single. Channel your inner walking dead, but less costumey and more Gaga. Think all-black, ripped tights, and chains. You could even go all out with skeletal makeup inspired by the Born This Way music video. It would also be a fitting tribute to the late Rick Genest, who the song, “Zombieboy” is dedicated to.
Slashed Baby Tee, £38
Ripped Tights, £25
Hotpants, £26
Biker Boots, £200
Walk, Walk, Fashion Baby

If I haven’t made it clear in this article already, Lady Gaga is somewhat of a fashion icon. Her style is fearless, theatrical, and unapologetically avant-garde – so why not take a page from her runway-ready songbook? High fashion and Gaga go hand in hand, so think of designers such as Alexander McQueen, Mugler, Maison Margiela for inspiration. Exaggerated shoulder pads, unexpected proportions, metallic textures, and high-drama silhouettes are a great starting point. After all, the Lady Gaga mayhem ball is as much a fashion event as it is a concert.
Long-sleeve Mini Dress, £215
Sculpted Blazer Dress, £390
Platform Heels, £425
Heart Bag, £180
