Ludovic de Saint Sernin is no stranger to pushing boundaries, and for Fall/Winter 2025, the designer takes power dressing to new heights. This collection redefines what it means to balance authority with seduction, offering a wardrobe that transitions seamlessly from the boardroom to the afterparty. Here is everything to know about the Ludovic de Saint Sernin FW25 collection…
The Inspiration
Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection is inspired by the collision of late-night excess and early-morning professionalism. The collection imagines a world where sweat-drenched revelers step straight from the club into the boardroom—smudged eyeliner intact. Drawing on the provocative spirit of Helmut Newton’s photography, the collection explores the tension between structure and sensuality, redefining power dressing for a new era. This season, the designer proves that climbing the corporate ladder doesn’t mean sacrificing self-expression.

The Collection
With a clear vision of a ‘9-to-5-to-9’ wardrobe, Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s latest offering seamlessly transitions between the office, the nightlife, and back again. Pencil skirts and body-skimming dresses in pinstripe wool, Glen plaid and polished latex feature front-laced closures reminiscent of both corsetry and dominatrix gear.

Modest collared wool shirts, at first glance appropriate for a conference room, transform into sultry halter tops once the blazer is shed. It is these dualities that make the collection thrive. One of the season’s highlights is its elevated leatherwork, created in partnership with LVMH Métiers d’Art. Signature LdSS pieces, like the Cleavage bralette and spaghetti strap dresses, take on a luxurious edge in python skin.

Meanwhile, hand-assembled metal mesh dresses echo the brand’s meticulous craftsmanship, previously showcased in the designer’s haute couture collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier. A look that was debuted by Emily Ratajkowsi at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
The Best Looks
Among the most striking ensembles are the power suits with exaggerated shoulders, tailored with princess seams to create an ultra-sharp silhouette. As well as rubber-clad calves that peek out from beneath the hems of hastily wrapped gabardine trench coats.
