For FW25, Off-White offers a deep-rooted exploration of cultural identity and the significance of uniforms. Here is everything to know about the collection…
The Inspiration
For Off White FW25, Creative Director Ibrahim Kamara delves into themes of strength for a collection titled State of Resistance. The collection was motivated by Kamara’s upbringing. Drawing inspiration from Ghanaian symbols like stars and eagles to the vibrant colours of West African art. To then the discipline and structure of British uniforms.

The Collection
Uniforms serve as the backbone of the collection, reinterpreted with a punk attitude that challenges traditional boundaries. Kamara examines how uniforms both homogenize and highlight individuality, using bold shoulders as a recurring motif to signify resistance and strength. The designs play with contrasts—strict tailoring meets fluid silhouettes, and sportswear influences blend seamlessly with structured cuts.

Fabrics such as jersey and denim become canvases for experimentation, with innovative washes and treatments adding depth and character. A neutral color palette is punctuated by vivid hues of aqua, purple, and red, injecting bursts of energy into the designs. Menswear and womenswear share a cohesive vision, united by a rebellious yet refined approach.
The Best Looks
Among the standout pieces in the collection are structured varsity and bomber jackets. In womenswear, architectural cuts sculpt the body, with peplum-style tracksuit jackets and zip-up tailoring. The mix of jersey and flou fabrics creates unexpected textures, elevating traditionally casual pieces.

For men, silhouettes are purposeful and bold. Shredded denim, padded shoulders, long jackets with hoodies inside, sports shorts and anatomic pants make for a rich mix of cultures and styles. Hybrid garments, zipper play, and protective textiles like tweed and plastic introduce an avant-garde sensibility.

The Sand Bag, a new accessory, transforms a common object into a subversive fashion statement, reinforcing the collection’s theme of turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
