The SUNNEI FW25 is not about making a statement. In fact, it is the absence of a conceptual statement that makes it revolutionary. By refusing to over-explain or intellectualize their designs, SUNNEI lets the clothes, the setting, and the act of buying itself speak volumes. In an industry obsessed with constructing meaning, SUNNEI dares to strip it all away, leaving behind only what truly matters: the clothes, the people, and the moment of exchange.
The Inspiration
For FW25, SUNNEI presents a collection that rejects overcomplication, favoring a straightforward approach to design and commerce. The formula is clear—what you see is what you get. This season, the brand challenges the industry’s fixation on selling ideas rather than products. SUNNEI reminds us that, at its core, fashion is a transaction: a moment where desire meets reality, where clothing moves from creator to consumer. It’s not about posturing or intellectualization—it’s about wearing, buying, and living.

The Setting
SUNNEI’s FW25 presentation took place on the street in front of Palazzina Sunnei, the brand’s headquarters. Models emerged from inside the building, carrying SUNNEI shopping bags, reinforcing the blurred line between fashion presentation and retail reality. As the show progressed, the models navigated a space where the city itself became an extension of the runway. The audience observed from behind barriers—not as passive spectators but as active participants in this intersection of fashion and commerce.

To exit the location, guests had to enter the building, revealing an unexpected twist: the unveiling of SUNNEI’s new flagship store inside Palazzina Sunnei, set to open the following day. This orchestrated movement cemented the concept that models were not just performers but also acting as customers, bringing fashion presentation and final purchases together rather than treating them as separate experiences. As stated in the press release, “Let’s not overcomplicate it. Fashion is about buying and selling, and there’s nothing wrong with saying that matters to us.”
