Versace has long been synonymous with boldness, luxury, and unapologetic individuality, and the FW25 collection is no exception. Under the direction of Donatella Versace, this season’s theatrical runway presentation blurs the lines between art and fashion. Here is everything to know about the Versace FW25 collection…
The Inspiration
Be yourself. Believe in yourself. Break the rules. These three mantras define the Versace Fall-Winter 2025 collection, a bold affirmation of the house’s timeless ethos. Donatella Versace masterfully bridges the past and the future, drawing from archival motifs while forging a new path for a generation unafraid of individuality. The collection is inspired by the interiors of Gianni Versace’s own residences, where neoclassical elegance collides with contemporary irreverence. From regal opulence to punkish deconstruction, the collection is a testament to Versace’s enduring philosophy: do what you do best, stay true to yourself, and make your mark.

The Collection
For women, the collection exudes theatrical drama, with sculptural silhouettes reminiscent of Gianni’s ballet costumes. Corseted Atelier Versace gowns with voluminous, gravity-defying skirts take center stage, balanced by edgy lingerie-inspired elements like slips, leotards, and lace-trimmed shirts. Daywear sees the infusion of home-inspired quilting, transformed into statement-making bustiers, puffers, and shawl jackets. Meanwhile, offset-shoulder blazers and tailored dresses channel a fierce, empowered femininity.

For men, the collection embraces a statuesque silhouette with sharp tailoring infused with the fluidity of silk shirts. Luxurious textures dominate, from sculpted trench coats to structured denim trousers. The interplay of rigid leather and fluid silks captures Versace’s signature tension between strength and sensuality, while decadent prints bring an unmistakable rock ‘n’ royalty vibe.

The Best Looks
Versace’s signature prints make a dazzling return, with a kaleidoscope of cheetah spots, Barocco swirls, and jewel-toned hues. Women’s ballgowns feature striking quilted patterns, while tops are adorned with Versace’s iconic Medusa medallion artwork.

A standout piece is an Atelier Versace bustier dress crafted from 3D-printed recycled nylon polymers, its glossy car-paint effect shimmering with embedded crystals. As well as two dresses woven from unravelling silver and gold threads – embroidered with beads, crystals and tubes that replicate creations presented in the Atelier Versace Fall-Winter 1998 Collection.

The Casting
The catwalk for Versace is always star-studded and this season was no exception. Mona Tougaard, Alex Consani, and Lila Moss all walked the show. There was also a surprise appearance from Romeo Beckham who walked in a silver chainmail top.

The FROW
FROW guests at the Versace FW25 show include Cillian Murphy, Ice Spice, Leonie Hanne, Hyunjin, Aaron Piper, and Ramala Ali.
