For Autumn/Winter 2025, Alice Temperley celebrates 25 years of the brand with a collection inspired by the Napoleonic era, titled ‘La Victoire.’ Here is everything to know about the Temperley London AW25 show…
The Inspiration
Inspired by the lavish uniforms, symbolic regalia, and storied craftsmanship of the early 1800s. Rich military greens, deep reds, and imperial blues form the foundation of a regal palette, punctuated by elaborate embroidery, hand-painted medal motifs, tassels, and intricate jacquard weaves that tell tales of victory, resilience, and legacy.

The Collection
The Anniversary Story is at the collection’s heart, encapsulated in a bespoke Toile du Jouy print. This signature artwork weaves together the personal and the historical, featuring symbols of the brand’s journey, from Alice Temperley’s Somerset roots to her unwavering dedication to craftsmanship.
Temperley London’s signature approach to print and embellishment finds its strongest expression in the Victory Story. Subtle yet striking, the T-logo is reworked in rich jacquard textures, offering a new perspective on branding.

Meanwhile, the Valour Story infuses sharp tailoring with colour-blocking inspired by military uniforms, where strength and elegance converge in precision-cut silhouettes.
The Gloriette Story honours the aristocratic times of the 19th century with a modern twist—hand-drawn medal prints, digitally translated onto silk satin, celebrating both honour and artistry. Echoing the embellishment traditions of the era, these intricate designs lend a stately refinement to flowing silhouettes and effortlessly draped eveningwear.

For the textiles, the Francis Story and its variations have been reimagined from archival jacquard, appearing in structured tailoring, textured knitwear, and washed denim.
“La Victoire has been a labour of love, and my whole team has worked so hard to make this happen. We are presenting complete White and Black collections as we embark on a new era. It’s been a journey these last 25 years, and I can happily say about this collection that I want it all,” says Alice Temperley MBE.

The Best Looks
Standout looks from the Temperley London AW25 collection include a knit cardigan and button-down midi skirt set, both in a striking print paired with pointed-toe boots. Then, as the collection moves to a darker, more romantic energy a look comprised of a crisp white shirt, accented with a contrasting pussybow and styled with a stunning paneled skirt creates a fluid and sculptural silhouette.

The Guests
Guests of the presentation included Caroline Rush, Caroline Issa, Deborah Ababio, Freya Ridings, Yasmine Naghdi, Lyric Mariah, Riz Houari, Daisy Jelley, Nadia Araujo, and Isabella Charlotta Poppius.
